Hold on tight, for the women in this show are not afraid to call a spade a spade in this fusion of dance, theatre and poetry that creates a narrative as original as it is acid and ironic.
A poet in crisis, a successful politician who works as a prostitute in her free time, an archaeologist and dancer converted into a cleaning woman… These, and others, such as the maids who worked for Picasso and Josep Pla, are just some of the characters you will meet on stage. Employing a rich range of languages, from dance to poetry, they will explore the themes of personal identity and the mechanisms that turn us into masters or servants. Voice and movement create images that are at times lyrical and baroque, at others sharp and cutting. Directed by Magda Puyo, the performance features words by the poet Dolors Miquel and the movement of Mar Gómez, a choreographer and dancer with her own personal style, one filled with good humour.
