The Barcelona Symphony/National Orchestra of Catalonia joins the Barcelona Grec Festival with a concert conducted by Carlo Rizzi, the renowned conductor from Milan who has worked with the French National Orchestra, the Chicago, Sidney and Montreal symphony orchestras, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and the Vienna Philharmonic, amongst others. The programme comprises two works by Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5 and Piano Concerto No. 1.
