If anything can be said to characterise Obeses it is the daring of their musical composition, their sense of humour, their ability to create surprising lyrics and, particularly their interest in experimenting, which has taken them from gypsy jazz to heavy metal and from the sardana to an opera buffa by Rossini, rumba, electronica, pop-funk… Now, in Plaça de Margaret Xirgu, the band will present their latest album, Monstres i princeses, accompanied by a symphonic ensemble that is characterised by its all-embracing approach to music. The rigour that Barcelona Municipal Band display in performing their repertoire has not prevented the ensemble from working with the most heterogeneous artists. This show will be, no doubt, one of the biggest musical events of the season.

Living in the Hol·les
The party continues with the Oques Grasses, voted Best New Act by popular vote t the Enderrock 2014 awards and now touring with their show Living in the Hol·les. These “Fat Geese” combine a happy-go-lucky, energy-packed sound with deep, thought-provoking lyrics. In 2014, Oques Grasses released their second album, Digue-n’hi com vulguis, and the band have built up a large base of fans devoted to their festive, cheerful music. Many songs in their repertoire fuse reggae and pop (they say they create... songs with wings!), though they also explore other sounds with similar success.
