One of the most active venues on the independent scene in Barcelona offers during the Grec a sample of its innovative multidisciplinary programming.
The human tragedy of immigration to Europe and, in particular, the cases related to the frontier between Spain and Morocco, are the theme of a piece of documentary theatre that uses the verbatim technique. This technique is based on real interviews and sound recordings, whereby a play is written in which the actors faithfully reproduce the original words, with pauses and slips included, blurring the distance between the actor and the reality that they are trying to represent on stage. A view, the most direct and honest possible, of the witnesses and protagonists of a real conflict, whose words were collected on different journeys to the area of Melilla, Nador, Tangier and Ceuta, as well as in Barcelona and Malaga, by the Mos Maiorum team.
