The five Shakespeare plays performed in this show are so tiny and short that they only last a few minutes, and take place in a box converted into a little playhouse. Put on your headphones and let the show begin!
The clown Toti Toronell and the artist Quim Domene worked together to create five little playhouses that are tiny works of art. Roll up, because inside each of these miniature theatres, a play by the Bard is performed. You can see Catalan-language versions of Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest and A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream, all turned into object theatre. Each play lasts eight minutes and is performed by... spectators like you, who are on the other side of the box-theatre and manipulate the objects according to the instructions they receive through headphones. They do not know what they are doing or why, but the viewers on the other side can watch the play and realise what they are doing as they enjoy a Shakespeare play that is tiny and unlike those that you have ever seen before.
