For many, playwriting is a solitary activity, but the authors invited to take part in this experiment demonstrate the great potential of writing “four-handed” pieces. José Sanchis Sinisterra and Josep Pere Peyró launch a new theatrical experience in which, at each of the next three editions of the Grec Festival of Barcelona, two authors will team up to write a play together. A dramatised reading of the new piece will then take place during the Festival. In this “Masters and Accomplices” series, Sinisterra and Peyró will be followed at forthcoming Festivals by Joan Cases, Feliu Formosa, Josep Maria Benet i Jornet and Pere Riera.
