Mal Pelo

Taking as its dual reference Michel Tournier’s Friday; or, the Other Island and Cervantes’ Don Quijote de la Mancha, the theme of Atlas is the relation between two men who, despite their differences, complement each other, depend on one another. Using objects, dance and theatre, video and the spoken word, Mal Pelo have created an intimate, poetic, thoughtful show, an intense artistic performance that, as always, seeks –and achieves– communication with the audience. In the second part, Maria Muñoz’s body and Bach’s music create a work which is a pure allegory of movement.
