The oldest venue of its kind on the Iberian Peninsula, Jamboree, a club devoted to jazz, blues and associated rhythms, is about to host show number 25,000. To celebrate this great event, a programme that pays tribute to the finest black music.
Although he was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Llibert Fortuny is one of the greats of Catalan jazz, both as a saxophonist and as a composer. Audiences will find out why at five magical nights.

Llibert Fortuny Solo Ride
Solo Ride is Fortuny’s most personal project, a solo foray in which he demonstrates the sounds he can produce on such instruments as the saxophone and the EWI, whilst surrounded by sequencers, samplers and other devices. Like the other sessions, this show will be recorded for a new album, Fortuny’s first Live at Jamboree.

Llibert Fortuny Acoustic Trio
The acoustic trio has been one of Fortuny’s favoured formats in recent years, and it gives us yet another chance to appreciate the talent of one of the most inventive and appreciated jazz musicians of his generation.
