Communism is dead. What has happened in the last 15 years, since break-up of the Soviet Union, the ethnic war in the Balkans and the emergence of savage capitalism? After the fall of the East, the West falls too and, without communism, liberal democracy cannot resist the temptation to become a new fascism. Semolina Tomic is a creative multidisciplinary artist who came to Barcelona from his native Croatia in 1985. After working with several artists and groups, he set up his own company. He has also directed L’Antic Teatre - L'Espai de Creació in Barcelona since 2003.
