Cinque storie per Casanova

In an age dominated by reason, Giacomo Casanova sang out the delights of living for the senses. In his writings, Casanova himself tells us the story of his life, a story filled with love affairs that took him all over Europe. Now, however, we shall discover the other version. The original texts that will be performed before us, written by five contemporary Italian women writers and performed by five Italian actresses, enable those seduced by the famous Casanova to give their version of events. They tell their tales in different areas in the Picasso Museum, giving their view of their meetings with the Italian seducer. Wistful, tender, sarcastic, even angry, the nun MM, Charpillon, Henriette, Lucrezia and Lia, describe the effects their relationship with Casanova had on their lives. Nothing less than a female revolution.
