Innovative, daring and rich in creativity. That is the only way to describe the shows that the Antic Teatre, a centre devoted to research and development of new stage and multidisciplinary languages, will present at the Grec Festival.
La Poderosa is an arts centre in Barcelona’s Raval neighbourhood which is devoted to pooling and crossing different tendencies in the arts in order to generate diversity and cultural wealth. The centre is managed by ARTAS (La Poderosa Associate Artists), a group of six artists who will give audiences a glimpse of their work in a series of pieces that demonstrate the importance of art groups in the city to promote debate and meditation on artistic practices. These pieces include: Abans i després de ballar (exceprt), by Mónica Muntaner; Danza real ya, by Pere Faura; El coño de Isidora, by Oihana Altube; Hacia una estética de la buena voluntad, by Amaranta Velarde; Happy ending, by Javier Vaquero; and Restos de mis series + Los que se ven entre sí (revival), by Bea Fernández.
