El Harlem, al Grec 2017

Since 1987, the Harlem Jazz Club has put on nearly 10,000 concerts. Conceived as a place where artists can be free, artists playing every possible style of music, both established and as yet undiscovered, have appeared on its stage.

Three founders and musicians of the defunct group Ojos de Brujo who were essential in the creation of the so-called “Barcelona sound" decided to create a musical project to keep their band’s original sound alive. The soul of rumba accompanies these musicians who, with guitar, cajón and scratching, created patterns of funky rumba that some define as “hip-hop flamenquillo". Rumbas, tangos and some odd experiments with bulerías are great part of their Ojos de Brujo repertoire, a cuartet that gets the audience dancing from minute one.
