Flamenco jazz, funk and soul, gypsy, pop-soul. You will find all this and more in the programme that a jazz club with a history stretching back more than 50 years has prepared for the 2017 Grec Festival in Barcelona.
This year the Jamboree hosts the debut in this country of Kadhja Bonet, from California, a singer who evokes the past (she says she was born in 1784), but who is committed ethically and aesthetically to today’s reality. The beauty of the forms and the commitment of her stories adorn a performance that seduces and, at the same time, makes people think.
