The voice of Juan Perro, performing as part of a trio, put the soul into this club in Plaça Reial for a few days, demonstrating admirable ability to adapt to the demands of jazz.
They say that cats have nine lives, but this “John Dog” is living proof that the canine race, not to mention certain singers, also have the power to regenerate. For the first time, in his performance at Jamboree, the alter ego of Santiago Auserón will showcase an original aspect of his latest reincarnation. Accompanied by Joan Vinyals on guitar, Juan Perro will present a unique show and repertoire, perfectly suited to a jazz cellar with fifty years’ history under its belt. On sax and clarinet, moreover, the jazz musician Gabriel Amargant will ensure that the wind is fully behind Perro as he strums his strings and sings his canine stories.
