Javier Colina first found fame for his double bass playing on the flamenco jazz scene, and has accompanied such musicians as Tete Montoliu, Bebo Valdés, El Cigala and Juan Perro. Pancho Amat, known in his hometown as El Rápido, “Speedy”, has spent years elevating the status of the tres as a concert instrument, and has played with the likes of Cesarea Evora, Ry Cooder, Joaquín Sabina, Rosana and even Víctor Jara.
