Rabih Mroué is considered to be one of the most interesting contemporary Lebanese artists. He’s bringing one of his most acclaimed creations to the 2023 Grec, a story that straddles reality and fiction called Riding on a cloud, which will be performed at the Teatre Lliure.
Taking advantage of the artist‘s presence in the city, there will be a programme of activities covering various aspects of his work. The Filmoteca de Catalunya is offering a season of screenings dedicated to the artist (12, 13, 15 and 18 July; €4 per session) which also includes the talk/performance Make me Stop Smoking (12 July)
In addition to these activities, there will also be a workshop for artists at Fabra i Coats, run by the Can Mamella Summer School for Artists (13 and 14 July) and the talk/performance Sand in the Eyes, which can be seen at the MACBA (14 July at 7 pm).
