Make a note of the date: Saturday, 16 July, when Poble-sec’s Annual Festival Youth Committee, made up of the neighbourhood's young people, will be inviting you to enjoy a whole host of activities, called Festasec Jove, which include everything from theatre to live music, not to mention skateboarding and Magic workshops.
The Youth Committee is made up of the Poble Sec United Youth Association, the Sants4ever Skateboarders’ Association, the Tres Xemeneies skateboarders’ group, Atlètic La Palma women's football team, the Tarda Jove, the Relax&Free group, Nastè Teatre, the Finally Rich Magazine group and other young artists or athletes from the neighbourhood.
They have all prepared a night for us to enjoy with the family, friends and, most importantly, for people of all ages. The party begins at 7.30 pm, with a theatre performance, and will continue at 8.30 pm with a space for skateboarding and magic, and will be rounded off with live music, from 10 pm to 2 am. Feeling hungry? Drop by the stall that's been set up and you’ll be able to have a mint tea or try out some Arab cakes or a crêpe.
