Col·lectiu Pedant a Missa i Repicant

In this Olympic year, a young group of performers presents a musical comedy in five acts plus a finale about an athlete who ran away at Barcelona ‘92.

Fiona, an athlete who fled during the 400-metre event at Barcelona’92, must face life outside sports, living in hiding on the streets of Barcelona. During her odyssey, she’ll meet the colourful people and characters who make up our city, gradually creating an urban legend about a Russian girl who escaped the clutches of the International Olympic Committee.

The Col·lectiu Pedant a Missa i Repicant presents an urban legend told in seven songs, a choral performance staged as a play/concert, accompanied by La Ludwig Band,

The Col·lectiu Pedant A Missa i Repicant is a group of artists established in Espolla in 2017, bringing together the talents of Quim Carandell, a singer-songwriter, and Lluc Valverde, a set designer, who are determined to unite their two respective passions: music and theatre. The company’s performers include the members of La Ludwig Band. The company's first production was Les Aventures Extraordinàries de Fiona Pereshtròikovitx [The Extraordinary Adventures of...] (2017), but they also wrote the musical comedy Sant Pere el Farsant [Saint Peter the Phony] (2019), El Perro Cantautor, de hambriento a Emperador [The Singer-Songwriter Dog, From Starving to Emperor] (2022) and Artemi, el cambrer abstemi [Artemi, The Teetotal Waiter] (2024).
