Evan Parker is a world reference on the impro scene, and the inventor of new sax techniques that have revolutionised the possibilities of this instrument. Agustí Fernández is the most international of Spanish impro musicians, his work occupying a place somewhere between jazz and contemporary music. Parker and Fernández have been playing together since 1995, when they recorded the CD Tempranillo. Since then, they have collaborated on all sorts of projects: jazz quartets and orchestras, acoustic and electronic formats… Their duets have become legendary, due to their deep mutual understanding, high energy and virtuoso skills. The result is a spontaneous, shared moment of exuberant creativity.
