Innovative, daring and rich in creativity. That is the only way to describe the shows that the Antic Teatre, a centre devoted to research and development of new stage and multidisciplinary languages, will present at the Grec Festival.
“Paradise” is a corrupt word that can materialise in a geographic place. For some, in the latest model of a car; for others, in a yoga class. We all do what we can to ward off the inevitable. Opposite this place is fear, an emotional business that nowadays celebrates the confusion that dominates this speeded-up early-century period. This stage show, created by Juan Navarro, a performer, actor and stage director who has worked with Rodrigo García y La Carnicería, Roger Bernat, La Fura dels Baus and other companies that specialise in unconventional languages, features a decalogue of theatrical speculations about fear.
