Lanònima Imperial & Cía. de Danza Fernando Hurtado

Where can the light of our feelings go amid the great, postmodern blackout? Two prestigious dance companies put Romanticism under their artistic microscope, looking for emotions that survive. Founded in 1986, Lanònima Imperial is amongst the renowned dance companies in Europe. Lanònima’s director and choreographer, Juan Carlos García, is considered one of the most brilliant members of his generation, and his works have been performed by leading companies at such top venues as the Komische Oper theatre in Berlin. Finally, Fernando Hurtado’s dance company is fast becoming established on the contemporary dance scene thanks to the brilliant shows they have taken to the United States, South America and Asia.
