A poetic conference in which the El Solar agency carries out an investigation on the Montjuic mountain to recover forgotten material matter.
The Montjuic mountain reveals many objects to the detectives like a document full of lost tales. During these discoveries, the mountain also leads them to the place where they end up setting up their office. The audience is also led to this spot so that all these voices, gathered together, are no longer under judgement.
Investigators open and share their field book with the audience by means of a poetic conference. It’s a great object made up of objects that tell stories, a notebook brimming with geological time, historical plant and community items, all found in the summits most hidden material scriptures. This show is the result of five weeks of research.
Shaday Larios, a Mexican artist specialized in investigating the strength of documentary objects; Jomi Oligor, an artist from Tudela, and member of the company Hns. Oligor; and the Catalan Xavier Bobés, theatre object creator. They are in charge of managing this agency that studies material culture, and which, within the framework of the Festival Temporada Alta of 2016, was installed for three months in the last remaining joiners in the old town of Girona. From the objects conserved in that space, they created a show full of history and complicity with the local community, which they called the First Album.
