Cris Juanico, an artist from Ciutadella, Menorca, has gained a large following over a career spanning more than twenty years, at times solo, at others as a member of such groups as Ja T’Ho Diré and Menaix a Truà. Now, four years after he released his last solo album, he presents a new set of tracks that use stones as a metaphor, as silent witnesses to the passing of time, as symbols of experience, love and pain. In these “stones that scratch”, Cris fuses rock with a little New Age and rhythm and blues, whilst always maintaining his unmistakably Mediterranean sound.
