Coses que dèiem avui

Romance, which forms the origin of this text, along with Helter Skelter and The Furies, first saw the light at the 2009 Sala Beckett Summer Workshop, when the playwright Neil LaBute dreamed up the first of these short pieces to be performed by the actors taking part in his performance workshop. Coses que dèiem avui [Things We Said Yesterday] is the dramatic reworking of these texts to give them unity in time and place. Behind this title, with its Beatles echoes, are three stories in which three couples act out intimate, delicate or absolutely violent scenes at a charming and sophisticated restaurant, in full view of everyone.
