How does sardana and cobla music sound today? To find out, better than to listen to an ensemble that has always cultivated the cobla repertoire whilst also maintaining a steady interest in new work? Several of the pieces that the Cobla will play in this concert come from this last category, for the band will play not only pieces by Josep Ma. Bernat, Josep Ma. Vilà i Gandol and Joaquim Serra, but also compositions by Vicenç Acuña and, particularly, Francesc Cassú, guest conductor at this concert.
