This autumn, the Barcelona International Jazz Festival arrives at the 50th edition and, to commemorate the event, the Grec Festival of Barcelona hosts five concerts: one, by guitarist Pat Metheny at Teatre Grec and four at the BARTS room.

In 2015 the Sala BARTS hosted in Barcelona the debut of the singer Cécile McLorin Salvant, preceded by her first prize in the world's most prestigious jazz competition in the world (the Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition) and her candidacy for the Grammy for her debut album , Woman Child. Today, he already has two Grammy under his belt (the last for his third album, Dreams and Daggers) and has become one of the indisputable references of vocal jazz. She and her elegant and impeccable quartet, attentive to the most subtle inflections of her moving voice, close the cycle of extraordinary concerts with which the Grec celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Barcelona International Jazz Festival.
