The independent Barcelona scene has its stage at the Antic Teatre which, one more year, participates in the Grec by contributing with some of the most innovative and risky proposals of the moment.
If you still do not know the work of American dancer and choreographer Trajal Harrell, we will tell you that he is considered one of the main choreographers of his generation. He gained its popularity with pieces such as the Twenty Looks or Paris is Burning at The Judson Church series, a unique blend of voguing dance (which was basically danced by African-Americans, LGTB and underground scene in the 80s) and the first manifestations of contemporary dance. Antigone Jr. ++, one of the pieces that are part of these series that now reaches the Antic Teatre, part of the tragedy of Sophocles and, in particular, the relationship between Antigone and his sister Ismene.
