Pop, rock, soul, folk and a host of other rhythms, often clearly connected to roots music, fill the BARTS concert hall for four intense weeks in which women will play an important part.
A singer from Zimbabwe made Barcelona her home and was able to make one of her greatest dreams come true: studying music (at the Liceu Conservatory) and becoming a singer-songwriter. Nowadays she is admired by everyone for her expressive voice full of emotional nuances and for her fusion of African, Latino and jazz rhythms, a sonic groove that touches the souls of those who listen. Natural Journey is her second disc, yet another example of her personal Afro-pop.
