A show for audiences of all ages that shows us what a short distance there is between disaffection and unconditional love. A call to rid ourselves of prejudice and love those who are different.
This time, taking the kids to the theatre will not only be fun for them, but will also provide a moving experience for the adults that accompany them. Because this large-format show is ageless, and is full of feeling, poetry and subtle reflection. In it, you will meet a group of children who play and imitate their elders, loving without even knowing what love is and fighting before they have even heard talk of hatred. These boys and girls, wearing masks that are a key element in the show, do not even fully understand what time is. However, despite their innocence, they will suddenly find themselves transformed into elderly people in their seventies who have certainly heard about hatred and the passing of time, but still do not know that love always saves another chance for us all... Amour is children's theatre for adults, or adult theatre for children. In other words, it is a place where young and old can share emotions and reflections, doubts and certainties. By a Basque company founded in 2008 and directed by Jokin Oregi, whose extraordinary creativity infuses all their works with an unmistakable quality.
