Having worked together in different formats the Majorcan pianist Agustí Fernández and the English double bass player, composer and band leader Barry Guy decided to work as a duo. The result was Some Other Place, an album showcasing their ability to fuse energy and elegance. Now, we will have the chance to see the pair play together live: Fernández, whose influences range from jazz to contemporary music; and Guy, an outstanding figure in contemporary music and one of the finest double bass players around.
