After a long absence from the recording studio, the artist returns, stronger than ever, to present a sonic and visual show in which this theatrical figure will perform both new songs and classics.
A true eccentric, this former leader of Umpah-Pah, considered one of the finest musicians of his generation, enriches his live performances with dizzying energy and creativity. Without a new album in the last decade, last year Puntí launched a book, Incompletament Puntí, featuring the unpublished work of his father, which, he said, was “full of silent songs, stained-glass windows that cast no light and drawings in the dark”. These silent songs now become precious little audio jewels in a sonic and visual show featuring Puntí’s trademark iconoclastic poetry. On this occasion, Puntí will be accompanied by his band, The Fellaction on the Rocks Band Bang Bang. This new show, demonstrating that this Girona-born artist is at the height of his creative powers, will treat audiences to a brilliant repertoire that features both all-time popular favourites and new songs.
