Once again the jazz club at plaza Reial joins the Festival with a selectin of great artists. Some represent the best NorthAmerican jazz and others are noted for its extraordinary vitality of the Barcelona jazz.
Born in Cleveland, Aaron Abernaty has an exceptional talent, not only on keyboards but also as a singer. He has been musical director of the international tours of Black Milk and Slum Village, as well as collaborating with artists such as Jack White, The Foreign Exchange and Eric Roberson. In the spring of 2015, Abernathy and his band, Nat Turner, opened for Black Milk during their European tour. They gained the audience's affection, thanks to their magnificent combination of gospel-inspired voices, sudden changes and funk twists that reveal influences from Prince and James Brown.
