A new edition of this international meeting place for new contemporary theatre. This year, there is a combination of in-person and online courses.
The Sala Beckett continues to be a leading centre for reflecting on dramatic art and the contemporary world, and the people collaborating with it include famous names from the performing arts of our time. However, this year, they are claiming a ‘permanent extraordinariness’ in midst of what they consider to be a ‘suspicious new normality’. For this reason, they are combining in-person workshops with online courses, a teaching method that will probably become much more common during the post-pandemic period.
