First session - writting workshop by Eloy Fernández Porta

Learning from Paris
18 March, 2015 - 18:30

The imaginary of the recreated city, trasplanted or cloned it becomes a font to look into contemporary art. Although this theme has been treated in numerous novels, it is difficult to find one so complete and radical as the first volume of the tetralogy Stratum by the French writer Camille de Toledo. The reconstructed Paris in Texas is described in this book and adopts all the tradition on writting about apocaliptic spaces and it constitutes a study case in how to look into the way how visual representations from the post-landscape world can be extended in time and become a narrative.
