Scientific November at La Marina and Montjuïc
In November, venues and organisations in La Marina and Montjuïc are offering science outreach activities for the general public, with the aim of making science more accessible to all and encouraging young people to study sciences.
As part of Science Week (8 to 17 November) a whole host of free educational activities are being organised in Catalonia: open days, virtual activities, exhibitions, scientific workshops and more. The common thread running through this year’s edition is ethics in science and technology.
A number of spaces and facilities in Montjuïc Park are taking part. However, in the La Marina neighbourhood the range of science dissemination activities for all ages is even wider, thanks to the promotion and coordination efforts of La Marina Viva, and will continue throughout the month of November. All the activities are free of charge, but you need to register in advance, using the channel indicated or via the link provided in each one.
