The check points and finish point will close when this clean-up team arrives, even if this is before the deadline set.
Because prior booking is not required, the organisers can not know in advance how many participants there will be. Therefore, liquid and solid refreshments will be distributed for as long as provisions are available. People participating in the walk will need to bring the food and water they need to carry out the activity, based on their needs, as the provisions offered along the route are for maintenance purposes only. With the aim of achieving Zero Waste, water will only be supplied to people who bring their own container (cup, flask, water bottle, etc.).
To show that you have taken part in the trail in your own Barnatresc calendar, you need to scan the barcode on your card on three occasions (at the start, check point and finish point). If you do not have a card or it has been lost, stolen, etc. you need to request one via internet before registering. You will receive the card in PDF format, and you can either print it or save it on your mobile so the barcode can be read.
Barcelona City Council, AIRUN, the Associació d’Entitats Excursionistes del Barcelonès and the Associació Excursionista d’Etnografia i Folklore are not responsible for any harm and/or damages that hikers may cause to themselves and/or third parties.
From 11 to 24 November you can complete the Montjuïc Trail in your own time and register your hike on the mobile app and the Barnatresc card. Due to technical problems, it will not be possible to enter the card barcode after undertaking the activity. Therefore, you will need to have your card with you before you start the trail to enter the code, as you won’t be able to do it afterwards.
