Avinguda Paral·lel will become a rumba venue.  Rumba All Stars are out to demonstrate the vitality of this style of music, one of the distinctive artistic expressions of Catalan culture.

Rumba All Stars is a Catalan rumba group formed by Carabutsí and the heavyweights of this musical genre who will be singing cover versions of popular songs and their own unpublished ones.

Passing through the three neighbourhoods where Catalan rumba was born: Carrer la Cera, Gràcia and Hostafrancs.

Three Roma communities joining together so they can share a fun and festive day on Avinguda Paral·lel for CULTUROPOLIS. But also to show that rumba is alive, that it is one of the most popular and traditional musical driving forces in the city and the whole country.

Artists such as Peret Reyes (Peret’s palmero for 35 years, vocalist with Chipen, Papawa, etc.), Sicus Carbonell (singer with Sabor de Gràcia, Enderrock Award 2021), Muchacho Serviole (singer for Muchacho and Los Sobrinos, musician with Peret, La Troba Kung-fú and Macaco), Alba Bioque (singer of rumba and other styles, Alvorigen and Canciograma), Sam-Mosketón (singer with Banda Achilifunk and Papawa and director Carabutsí-EMUGBA City of BCN Award 2019) and Joves Carabutsins (percussion and jaleos), all grandchildren of great rumberos, and artists such as Manu Marchoso, Santos Gabarre and Gurrini.
