Jorge Lluis Marzo has a PhD in Cultural Studies and is an art historian, exhibition curator, audiovisual producer and full professor at the BAU Design College of Barcelona. He has developed numerous national and international collaborative research projects, in exhibition, audiovisual or editorial format, and often related to image politics.
Among his latest works it is worth highlighting Biennal 2064 (Bòlit, Virreina, Carme, 2022-2023); La corba. El relat matemàtic de la pandèmia (ICUB, 2022); Actuar en la emergencia (RAER, 2021-2023); Las videntes. Imágenes en la era de la predicción (Arcàdia, 2021); Fantasma’77. Iconoclàstia espanyola (Tecla Sala, CCCC, RU, Solleric, 2020); After Post-Truth (Artnodes, 2019); La competencia de lo falso. Una historia del fake (Cátedra, 2018).
He has directed the International Congress Interface Politics (BAU, 2016, 2018) and co-authored the reference book Arte en España (1939-2015). Ideas, prácticas, políticas (Cátedra, 2015).
