Eduardo Maura is a philosophy professor and coordinator of the Master’s in Psychoanalysis and Theory of Culture at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).

Between 2015 and 2019 he was a Spanish MP, spokesperson for the Culture Committee and a member of the Sub-Committee for drafting the Congress of Deputies’ Artist and Cultural Work Statute.

He is the author of Las teorías críticas de Walter Benjamin (Bellaterra, 2013) and Los 90. Euforia y miedo en la modernidad democrática española (Akal, 2018), as well as numerous publications in the fields of contemporary aesthetics, critical theory and cultural policy.
