Thomas Louvat is an artistic director and researcher. He has a Masters in theater research and another in mediation and artistic creation from the University of Cultures, Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3. After directing the French collective Teatr Mozkaï for eight years (1995-2003), he founded in Barcelona the teatroDENTRO project (2006-20015), training and production in prisons with the transFORMAS association. FROM 2008 to 2012, he works as an expert for the EUROsociAL cooperation program of the European Commission and develops artistic practice projects in prisons in Argentina, Uruguay, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Brazil and Colombia. Since 2017, he has been artistic director of VULNUS and mediator of the Toolbox, a culture and education program of the Neighborhood Plan of Barcelona City Council.
