After initially studying architecture, Roger Bernat went on to study directing and dramaturgy at Barcelona’s Institut del Teatre.

In 1997, he founded General Elèctrica, Centre of Creation for Theatre and Dance, with Tomàs Aragay.

Then, in 2008, he started to work on creating shows where the public becomes the protagonist. Theatrical projects that have been catalogued as participatory or immersive theatre.

The projects he has directed include 10.000 kg, Confort Domèstic, Amnèsia de fuga and Tot és perfecte.
