Núria Guiu graduated in Classical Dance at the Institut del Teatre, where she was part of IT Dansa before dancing with companies such as Cullberg Balletten, Gisele Vienne, Carte Blanche Dance Company, Batsheva Dance Company (Kamuyot), Ingri Fiksdal, Jasmin Vardimon, La Veronal and Kobalt Works, among others.

She is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and a student of the Degree in Anthropology and Human Evolution at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). She has worked as Gisele de Vienne's artistic assistant and also as an performer in some of her creations such as Crowd or This Is How You Will Disappear.

Since 2012 she has been interested in choreography and exploring the body-image-power-digitality relationship. Likes, was selected for the European platform Aerowaves 2018. In addition, it won a special mention as the best dance performance at the 2018 City of Barcelona Awards, as well as an award for the best solo dance performance at the Critics' Awards in 2018 and the 2020 DansaCat. Her latest works are Spiritual Boyfriends, premièred at the Barcelona Grec Festival in 2020, and Futuralgia, a group work commissioned by Unusual Symptoms of Dance Theater Bremen, which opened in October 2020.

Núria Guiu was an associate artist at Graner de Barcelona in 2021-22 and is currently an associate artist at Mercat de les Flors for 2022-23.
