Research presented during the academic congress session “Diversities III: Are there ways of transforming cultural and artistic institutions in order to ensure the right to access and exercise cultural rights?”
Author: Emma Brasó. Hablarenarte Cultural Association (Madrid).
What is the real place of children in the cultural ecosystem? As political subjects with a 'weak’ voice, what measures can be taken to ensure that their perspective is taken into account in the development of cultural policies?
Based on these questions, the Hablarenarte Cultural Association defends the importance of building non-adultcentric participation and decision-making mechanisms within the cultural venues that we share. To this end, various projects and research studies focusing on the cultural rights of children have been carried out.
