Like other natural disasters, earthquakes affect the development of the area, the environment, the economy, society and sustainability. Culture is also seriously affected. The aim of this study is to discover the impact of earthquakes on the area‘s culture. More specifically, it studies the impact of the 2017 earthquake that affected the island of Kos, in the Aegean Sea.
