CULTURAL RIGHTS, FOR WHOM?

A debate on the possibility of cultural rights becoming universal, introducing the cultural-rights framework in public policies and laws, the connection between art, the general public and the transformative potential of actions that go beyond the classic boundaries of cultural policies.

Participating in the debate:

Patrice Meyer-Bisch, a philosopher with a PhD from the University of Freiburg. He runs the “Freiburg Group”, which is dedicated to cultural rights.

Lucina Jiménez, with a PhD in Anthropological Sciences and a specialist in cultural policies and sustainable development, education in arts, cultural rights and the culture of peace.

Jordi Ferreiro, artist and educator. He'll bethe education and mediation coordinator at Manifesta 2024, the European Nomadic Biennial.

Moderated by Gemma Carbó, director of the Carulla Foundation‘s Museum of Rural Life.
