CAN CULTURAL RIGHTS BE GUARANTEED?

A debate on what should be the ways of exercising, calling for and guaranteeing global rights from the perspective of culture and the general public. What role do government institutions play and what should the general public be doing to maintain a society that exercises cultural rights in a broad, diverse way?

Fran Quiroga, a trans-disciplinary researcher and the coordinator of Concomitentes, a citizen art production company.

Laurence Cuny, a lawyer specialising in human rights and a researcher. She is a member of the UNESCO Chair on Diversity of Cultural Expression at Laval University‘s Faculty of Law in Quebec (Canada), and an associate member of the Diversity and Cultural Rights Observatory in Freiburg.

Luca Bergamo, a culture professional and Deputy Mayor of Rome for Cultural Development. Moderated by Inês Câmara, a member of the Board of Culture Action Europe and president of the A Reserva association.
