Amadeu Carbó i Martorell

Amadeu Carbó i Martorell (Barcelona, 1970) is a cultural activist and manager –specialised in popular and traditional culture. Author and co-author of several books, papers and articles on topics related to festivals and traditions. He has lectured in postgraduate courses and academic seminars. He also published his work for general audience media.

Carbó has collaborated as a researcher and curated numerous exhibitions, shows and events. He has been a member of the editorial board of the magazine Gegants, Coordinator of the Joan Amades Jubilee (2009) and a member of the Council of Popular and Traditional Culture of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
