Catalan rumba. The band bids farewell to the stage with a final concert at Razzmatazz as part of Cruïlla Tardor.

Since the release of their first album Teta 20 years ago, the band have shown that  time can indeed stand still , and that contrary to what the lyrics of the words of their best known song Samarreta say, that’s something that doesn’t scare them at all: Gertrudis have managed to keep their style intact ever since, and have revolutionised Catalan rumba.

Their unique blend of reggae, Latin music, cumbia and so many different rumba genres has led them to create iconic songs like Bon Dia Vida and Si tothom calla and to work with artists like Jarabe de Palo, Bounce Twice, Txarango and JazzWoman, as well as many others.
