A picture of the building rooms during a light show

A night at Casa Batlló

The building in Passeig de Gràcia offers night visits until January

It is a building that looks like a living being of gigantic dimensions, where visitors move freely in its veins and corridors. Casa Batlló is an architectural master piece and you should listen to its story. Come this Christmas and discover a magical building where the walls... come alive.

A winter night is the new nocturnal visit to Casa Batlló, with access to the terrace and the Gaudí Cube 360º room, a large LED cube that provides an immersive experience for visitors. The visit to the building is complemented, between 28 November and 6 January, with a light and music show on the façade of the building, which you can enjoy every half hour every evening, lasting approximately three minutes.

At the beginning of the visit you can  choose the voice that will tell you about the building: a neutral one, focused on the architecture and the history of the building, or some more familiar ones, like Fermina, the family's nanny, or Juan Carlos, descendant of those who renovated the building and turned it into the modernist jewel that it is today.

All this with a soundtrack composed especially for the visit, work of multimedia composer Jordi Longán. Did you choose Fermina’s voice? Then La Nana de Fermina, created and performed by the singer and composer Sheila Blanco, is sure to be played at some point.

The visit will provide a different educational experience for families and adults alike. Children from 0 to 12 years old (we recommend the audio of Fermina's character for them) will have a great time, not only because they enter for free, but also because they are allowed to manipulate the AR tablet included in the visit.

If this coming Christmas you want to see Casa Batlló as you've never seen it before and enjoy the new light show that brings the stone façade to life, come and visit Una nit d'hivern, but first check the website for all the information about the activity.
