Chocolate for the whole family
On weekends, the Museu de la Xocolata organises workshops and fun sessions for children up to the age of 12.
The Museu de la Xocolata offers a wide range of family activities for children. In all cases, children must be accompanied by at least one adult and it is compulsory to book a place through the links below.
The Súper3 family lollipops workshop takes place every first Sunday of the month at 10.30 am and offers children from 6 to 12 years old the chance to make chocolate lollipops (white, dark and milk) with a piping bag and decorate them with spices, nuts and fruits. Admission, which includes a guided tour of the museum, costs 19 euros for adults and is free for children with a Super3 card.
The Lollipops with family workshop is also aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old and takes place on some weekends, at different times. The content is similar to the previous activity, it includes a free visit to the museum and the price is 14 euros per participant.
The Family chocolate artists workshop is designed for children aged 3 to 12 to learn about the cocoa tree, the manufacturing process and the ingredients of chocolate before learning the basic techniques for handling it in the sweetest and most fun way. The activity is offered every Saturday at a different time and costs 8.50 euros per person.
Finally, the Storytellers and family chocolate artists session is also aimed at the public aged 3 to 12 and consists of making drawings and a chocolate figurine to take home based on the narration of a magical fable. The activity takes place on some weekends, costs 13 euros per participant and includes a free visit to the museum.
